On our winter traverse of the Wildcats and Carters, we were treated with low winds, a bluebird day, and views for miles of the Presidential Range across Pinkham Notch.
For our longest winter hike yet, we did a 17+ mile loop over Mt. Garfield and Galehead Mountain on a cold February day.
As we approached Mt. Liberty, we couldn’t contain our excitement as we caught glimpses of an incredible undercast stretching across the horizon.
We took Glen Boulder Trail to Davis Path, which provides extended views above treeline of the Presidential Range, for our second time summiting Mt. Isolation.
A cold but perfectly clear and windless day on East Osceola and Mount Osceola in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Hiked the Kinsman Trail to North and South Kinsman where we saw the most breathtaking undercast – a veritable ocean of clouds extending to the horizon.
