Hiking a single day Pemi Loop (31.5 mi, 9,000+ft of elevation gain) is a bucket list item for many hikers and trail runners. Backpacker Magazine labeled it as one of the toughest day hikes in the US and we tackled it in 15.5 hours!

On June 27, 2020, we participated in Summits in Solidarity, a peak-bagging initiative with three key calls to action:
1. raise awareness about racial justice issues in the United States
2. take action to end systemic racism
3. raise funds for existing racial justice organizations that are doing critical work to support Black and brown lives
On the Summer Solstice, we hiked the Kinsmans from via Lonesome Lake Trail from Lafayette Place. It was a beautiful hike on a hot sunny day.
Hiking Mount Liberty and Mount Flume as an out and back via Liberty Spring Trail made for a great day in the White Mountains – expect a steep rocky trail and open summits with sweeping views.

Our first New Hampshire 48 4,000 footer! On a rainy and humid October day, we hiked Cannon Mountain and were blown away by the beauty of the White Mountains, even in suboptimal weather conditions.
Boasting beautiful Rocky Mountain passes and seemingly unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities, we loved our time camping and hiking around Twin Lakes, CO.
To get out west, we drove from Boston through St. Louis and Kansas City to reach Denver with stops at the Gateway Arch, Joe’s KC BBQ, and yoga at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
